红旗五下安装mplayer全过程.
redflag5下mplayer没有图形界面,只有命令模式,于是重新安装了mplayer,过程如下:正确安装mplayer需要三个包的安装：主程序，皮肤以及codecs。这三个程序都可以从mplayer官方网站下载：[[url=http://www.mplayerhq.hu/homepage/design7/dload.html][size=2][color=#000080]www.mplayerhq.hu[/color][/size][/url]]
我下载的是：
src:MPlayer-1.0pre7.tar.bz2
skin:kde 0.3
other binary codec packages中的codecs:all-20050412.tar.bz2
font:Arial - Western (ISO 8859-1) (4 sizes)
为放心起见,先在root下终端运行,rpm -e mplayer.
删除root及其它用户下的.mplayer文件夹.
安装时先安装编码包codec，mplayer的codec须安装在/usr/lib/codecs/中， 先建立目录,再解压codec包文件,cp到目标目录中.
接着开始安装mplayer主程序
先解压 MPlayer-1.0pre7.tar.bz2 到/root下,
cd root/MPlayer-1.0pre7/
接下来是配置准备编译，
./configure --enable-gui
configure后面的参数是为了使用图形界面（即皮肤），
配置成功后，后面就一马平川了
make
make install
现在mplayer已经装到了你的linux里，mplayer及gmplayer命令在/usr/local/bin目录下,下面要安装皮肤即图形界面
/usr/local/share/mplayer/Skin/下拷贝解压的Arial - Western (ISO 8859-1)文件中font-arial-18-iso-8859-1中的内容,
usr/local/share/mplayer/Skin/中建立个default目录,拷贝kde 0.3 中的内容,
在终端运行/usr/local/bin/gmplayer看看，
这样整个mplayer的安装过程就结束了，看上去挺麻烦其实真正做起来很快，顶多半个小时就可以搞定。附：卸载mplayer只需在刚刚由MPlayer-1.0pre7.tar.bz2解压出来的MPlayer-1.0pre7目录下运行make uninstall即可。所以，这个解压出来的文件夹不要删除，如果删除了，卸载的时候也可以到安装目录下直接删除，linux下没有注册表的概念放心删除！
